Scaife Family Values

Family values- we teach them in word, in deed either deliberately or accidentally. When we started our family, our hearts desire was to raise up our children to have a right relationship to Christ and to others. I wanted to have children other people enjoyed being around! In all honesty, it was hard to get started- and is still hard to maintain. The world and it's ways tug at our attention- distraction lurks all around. We must set our hearts to press on.
After much prayer and consideration, I have decided to dedicate Saturdays to sharing family values; things we strive to instill in our hearts and the hearts of our children. Here's a peak at a few:
   *relationship with the Lord
   *respect life
   *honor/respect authority
   *diligence/endurance (a good work ethic)
Now that we have had a peek into the coming weekend topics, I hope you will join me not only as readers, but as participators- sharing your family's values and lessons. Let us learn from each other by sharing our gleanings from the field- let's share our family values.
