Fiber Arts Monday....WIP & New In the Shop

Today on the table we have some pretty fall fans all in a row. Warm earthen colors nestle together from Dresden pieces to form the lovely petals of an old fashioned fan.

Currently there are twenty fan pieces, and a few more on the way...just enough for a pretty twin bed? We shall see.

The crumb quilt is moving along...slowly. Bits and pieces here and there gradually fall into place; random blocks from this and that.

Here is a cute little square...little baby giraffe just happen to take center stage in this scrappy block. Too, cute!

New in the Etsy shop: the pretty fall wreath quilt; just in time for the lovely fall season. Hand appliqued, hand bound, and completely hand quilted, the fall wreath quilt measures 28"x28"; lovely as a table centerpiece or a wall hanging.

It is available with or without the bow; with or without the hidden sleeve (for hanging). If you're interested in purchasing this pretty quilt, click the tab at the top of the blog "Simply Scaife on Etsy" for ordering information or leave me a comment with your contact information.

And that is the end of our update!

Crumb blocks are looking great, I love blue and brown together. The fans will be lovely too. They would look great with some leaves appliquéd in the border! I am so free spending other people's time, aren't I?

The fans are perfect for this time of year:) I love the colors in your crumb blocks! I'm not familiar with this method, so I'll have to do a little investigating.
